LAW AND ORDER - FIRST CLIP

This is an example of hidden camera footage inadvertently capturing significant background action. It is also one of our examples of hidden cameras used as a plot device in a televison series. Here the estimable detectives Briscoe and Curtis on Law and Order very ingeniously use an ATM to monitor traffic on the street. By repeated careful viewing they come to identify not just a relevant truck, but also view important characteristics which lead to their corraborating other evidence.
The second clip shows a very interesting "lab analysis" of this same footage, so be sure and take a look at that one too. Also, one of our Hidden Camera Gallery examples is useful to look at in relation to these two clips, the one called "Background". One of the points of this kind of example is that hidden cameras are capable of inadvertently capturing actions other than those towards which they appear to be directed.
